Ekamai and Thonglor aka the ET Zone. If your idea of spending time in a city as varied and vibrant as Bangkok is hanging out in "lounges" with the silver spooners then ET could well the place for you. Of course you could listen to a bunch of Jerks espousing the merits of vintage champagne over Johnny Black, who claim to be affluent (effluent?) but never tell you how much money mummy and daddy give them. If that's your bag then this is the place for you.

So successful is this area that no bar seems to last more than six months before its keys back time and a quick dash to mumsie for the funds for the next failed venture.

Stupid girls, and even more stupid boys, running around like they know the real Bangkok! Sorry but give me the slumdogs in Khao San any day.

One word for this area...... DULL!

Oh yeah..........no videos, nothing here worth the effort..

I agree the place is full of Farang "rich kid" types but that doesn't mean the bars are so bad. Actually there are some pretty cool bars here that wouldn't exist without these spoiled brat types.
